A project financed from the EEA Grants 2014-2021 was launched in the parish of Bučovice

In mid-March, a grant from the EEA Grants 2014-2021 in the amount of almost CZK 15.7 million was approved for the project of the Roman Catholic parish of Bučovice entitled Organ restoration and revitalization of the Church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Bučovice. The project will be implemented in the period 3/2021-4/2024 and the total estimated project expenditure is CZK 17.4 million.

On March 19, 2021, a solemn Mass was held in the Bučovice Church on the occasion of the beginning of the project, which was celebrated by the Dean of Slavkov, Mgr. Milan Vavro.

The whole event took place in compliance with safety measures in connection to the covid-19 pandemic.
